As I wrote before in my latest post, along the years I decorated many houses. Houses in which I lived for more or less important time, also if those weren’t my properties.
When I stepped into for the first time, they seemed bare and cold to me and I tried to imagine how I could make them more comfortable without spending too much. Even more not being mine.
So, there were essentially three things to do: paint some wall (I like very much pastels against tough colors), move furnitures and buy out something new (low cost but with the right taste) and perfume the rooms.
I can tell you, those houses magically become mine and I really felt to be at home in every one of them.
Not every house speaks of who live there, just like not all the people take care of their appearance, just thinking that it’s not important.
It’s important for me, instead, in the appropriate degree in which we can afford it.
