The fortress

I bought my last sunglasses just some months ago, when I move to another city.

During the first days I should be gone away, I missed everything of my past life, even the noise made by my neighbors.

That’s what fear does during a change.

It creates a reality distortion field and mind (diabolic) shows you only nice memories and avoids the important ones which persuaded you to take the decisions.

I remember crying so much that I dug a moat around my new house.

Then, when I understood there weren’t enemies or wild animals to fight, I lowered the drawbridge.

It was me the only obstacle to my happiness.

For this reason I sat in front of the mirror and I no longer needed sunglasses.
