«Noah, why did you stop? Next you must finish weaving your first canvas.»

«I’m tired Mommy, my paws hurt. Can I continue tomorrow?»

«Come on, make a little more effort, otherwise everything you did today will be lost. Finish the drawing you had in mind to make… if you have one, I can’t understand the plot, from up here.»

«Well… yes, I had one in mind but then I got distracted and I woven randomly.»

«My little one, it takes commitment and dedication to carry out a project. Of course, at first it’s not easy, but if you always keep in mind your goal, slowly you’ll reach it and only in this way can you find your way. So tell me, what would you like to build?»

«I would like to create a beautiful, unique canvas so that everyone can see and admire it, without destroying it.»

«Very well! Then, to do it, you will have to work hard. But now start to climb and come here taking cover, if the man sees you, you’ll be in trouble! Unfortunately, he often stops at appearances, we scare him and we have to run away every time we sense his presence.»

«Okay, mom, I’m on my way… but… careful moooom someone is approaching… no moooooooomy…”

A man had just seen a spider and with a broom he had thrown it out the window and he didn’t notice that there was also another small one below.

Noah hid in a crack in the wall, scared and sad, what would he do without his mom, he was so small and still had to learn many other things to survive, but an idea occurred to him; if he had accomplished his great work, perhaps he would have had a chance to find his mother and save himself.

He worked hard for a long time, managed to get out of the house that had hosted him until then and faced all the dangers that life, beyond the safe harbor, presented him but, mostly, he never lost hope.

Until one day…

Between two branches of a magnolia, a spider had created something rare, a giant octagonal web where you could read an inscription:

“I am Noah”

This spiderweb was the subject of studies and became famous because such a thing had never been seen before, so no one destroyed it.

Noah didn’t find his mother anymore but thanks to her teachings, he gave meaning to his life and found his way, creating his best work.
