Your match

“Ok, you are in the center of the field and the game has just started.”

After the referee’s whistle, all the players have started following a pattern and are running towards the target. You are there in the center, because they’ve taught you life as a midfielder is not that bad, you pass the ball when it happens to you, you organize the game and you feel safe in the perimeter where you have been placed.

It’s a good role actually, you feel like be the focus of the team and everything seems to move around you, but have you ever thought how nice it would be to attack?

Run far and wide across the pitch… feel the fresh air in your face and your legs tired from fatigue, the passing of obstacles, overcoming the defense lines and then… finally the satisfaction of score your ‘goals’.

Yes, you could shout it with all the voice in your throat and releasing the adrenaline of the moment you’ll feel like you’ve reached even the most remote corners of the planet:

“Gooooooooooooooal”

Speaking of remote corners:

Jupiter would wake from his sleep, Athena would prepare the armor and Cupid, proud, would know that another of his arrows was not shot in vain.

And you?

You would have played your game in the best way! Falling and getting up several times, with scraped knees and heart swollen with life, because if that is your field, only by going through it to the end, leaving the comfort zone, you’ll realize that you have really lived and Cupid’s arrow would have done, once again, center.

So what are you waiting for?

Run… and enjoy the game!
