Oggi che aspetto sei? / What do you look like today?

Siamo fatti di tanti aspetti, alcuni ci piacciono e altri meno.

Tendenzialmente passiamo la maggior parte del tempo ad occuparci della nostra parte più bella, convinti che sia la carta vincente e riveliamo solo in un secondo momento il lato oscuro, anzi a dir il vero… trova sempre il modo di palesarsi di sua spontanea volontà o meglio necessità.

«Conosci Viola? È una ragazza dolcissima, ha una parola gentile per tutti ed è di una educazione unica.»

«Stai parlando di Viola Rossi?»

«Sì esatto, l’insegnante di yoga»

«Ma guarda io la conosco sotto altri aspetti. Abita nella porta accanto alla mia e spesso la sento urlare con il marito. Quando mi capita di incrociarla sul pianerottolo, sembra sempre arrabbiata e a fatica saluta.»

«Ah, sembra che stiamo parlando di due persone completamente differenti. Che strano!»

Invece Viola è tutto questo e molto altro ancora, sono i suoi tanti aspetti che non la rendono una persona migliore o peggiore, semplicemente parlano di lei: di un suo momento felice in cui avrebbe voluto dare amore al mondo intero; di un suo momento triste in cui niente andava nel verso giusto; delle sue battaglie nascoste; delle sue paure; della sua allegria e della sua rabbia.

Noi siamo un puzzle di aspetti da far combaciare!

All’inizio non è facile, perché vorremmo scartare le caselline nere per mostrare un quadro bello e colorato, ma così il puzzle non si completa.

Poi quando ci rendiamo conto che quel tocco oscuro è solo un aspetto e lo riponiamo nel posto giusto, capiamo che il disegno è perfetto così com’è, con tutti i suoi giochi di luci e ombre.

A noi, il privilegio di completarlo.

A chi ci ama, la gioia di ammirarlo.

We are made up of many aspects, some we like and others less so.

Basically, we spend most of our time taking care of our most beautiful part, convinced that it is the winning card and we reveal the dark side only at a later time, telling the truth… it always finds a way to reveal itself of its own free will or, better, need.

«Do you know Viola? She’s a very sweet girl, she has a kind word for everyone and she has unique politeness.»

«Are you talking about Viola Rossi?»

«Yes, that’s right, the yoga teacher»

«Look, I know her in other respects. She lives next door to mine and I often hear her screaming with her husband. When I meet her on the landing, she always seems angry and barely says hi.»

«Ah, it looks like we’re talking about two completely different people. How strange!»

Viola is all of this and much more, that’s the many aspects that don’t make her a better or worse person, they simply speak of her: one of her happy moments in which she would have liked to give love to the whole world; another one of a sad moment, when nothing was going right; her hidden battles; fears; cheerfulness and anger.

We are made by puzzle of aspects to match!

Its not easy at the first time, because we would like to discard the black slots to show a beautiful and colorful picture, but in this way, the puzzle is not completed.

Then, when we realize that dark touch is only one aspect and we put it in the right place, we understand the design is perfect as it is, with all its play of lights and shadows.

So, the privilege of completing it to us.
